Withdrawal instruction
Right of withdrawal. You have the right to withdraw from this contract within 14 days without giving any reason. The withdrawal period is 14 days from the day the contract is concluded (the day you complete signup for a Dai Segni subscription).
How to withdraw. The quickest way is the Withdraw from contract button. It is linked in the footer of every page and appears in your account under Subscription while the 14 days are running; you can use it whether or not you are signed in. It takes you straight to a page that captures your declaration and sends you written confirmation immediately.

— of your decision to withdraw from this contract by an unambiguous declaration (for example, a letter sent by post or an email). You may use the model withdrawal form below, but it is not obligatory. To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient that you send your communication concerning the exercise of the right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period has expired.
Effects of withdrawal. If you withdraw from this contract, we shall reimburse all payments we have received from you without undue delay and at the latest within 14 days from the day on which we received notice of your withdrawal. The reimbursement will use the same means of payment you used for the original transaction unless expressly agreed otherwise; you will not be charged any fees for the reimbursement.
If you requested that the service begin during the withdrawal period, you shall pay us a reasonable amount corresponding to the proportion of the services already provided up to the time you informed us of the withdrawal, compared with the full scope of the services under the contract.
Early expiry of the withdrawal right. The right of withdrawal expires if we have fully performed the service, and we only began performing it after you gave your express consent to immediate performance and acknowledged that you lose your right of withdrawal upon full performance of the contract (§ 356(4) and (5) BGB). You give this consent by ticking the corresponding box in the subscribe flow before checkout.
During the current free beta (€0/month), no payments have been made, so a withdrawal results in no reimbursement; your account is closed and your data deleted on request.
Cancelling, as distinct from withdrawing
Withdrawal is a statutory right that runs for 14 days and unwinds the contract. Cancelling is separate, available at any time, with no reason and no fee, using the Cancel contracts here button in the footer of every page and in your account under Subscription.
The difference matters:
- Withdrawal ends your contract immediately and is followed by a refund.
- Cancellation ends it at the close of the period you have already paid for, and you keep full access until then.
- Deleting your account is a third thing again: it ends the contract immediately, without a refund for the remainder of the period, and erases your content.
Cancelling does not delete anything. After your contract ends your account moves to read-only: your coaching notes and transcripts stay readable and exportable, and your recordings are kept, not deleted. Audio playback, Ask, search across your sessions, new uploads and editing your notes stop until you subscribe again — at which point everything returns intact. See section 8 of the Terms of Service.
